Monki was produced by Damon Tutunjian (Mew, Swirlies), who has now also joined I Am Super Ape on bass, guitars, and synths. It was recorded and mixed at Discrete Motion Recordings and Tambourine Studios (The Cardigans, Bob Hund) by Erik Sunding, with additional tracking performed at Alain Johannes’ studio in the US.
